Here’s all the info

‘Mass Movement’
Sunday 2nd September
1pm – 5pm
Dalston C.L.R. James Library, Dalston Square, London E8 3BQ

Mass Movement is a local artist-led workshop promoting DIY design for young people using the vast archive and resources at Dalston’s CLR James Library. It is inspired by the cultural energy of community activism across history – from art groups and the unity of rave, to protest marches and pirate radio. It is the idea that independent ideas can gain momentum through collaboration and community, and that popular or mass ideas need not be inert and commercially-driven.

Our format is that each t-shirt will bear the title ‘Mass Movement’, but will feature each person’s own design using the library’s resources. Each t-shirt will be one of a kind, and yet part of a group.

£10 donation per T-shirt / Free for under-18s and over-60s
